Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to families, promoting their involvement in community activities and programs.
  • Ensure families have access to the resources they need to thrive, including information, referrals, and connections to local services.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and service providers to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting families.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage families and promote their participation in community activities and programs.
  • Collect and provide data on family engagement and participation, as required.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, community development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with families and communities, particularly in a rural or regional setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Sound knowledge of local services and resources, and the ability to connect families with these services.
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence and Working with Children's check is essential.
