We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Strategist to join our team. This key role will blend deep technical expertise in portfolio construction and asset consulting with the ability to foster long-term, trusted partnerships with financial advisers and their clients.

About the Role

This is a senior position within our Tailored Solutions team, responsible for delivering tailored asset consulting services to leading financial advice firms. You will work closely with clients to design and manage bespoke portfolios that reflect their investment philosophy, objectives, and risk profile, while aligning with the recommendations of the Investment Committee.

  • Build and manage tailored portfolios that align with client needs and investment philosophy.
  • Lead client relationships and serve as the primary contact.
  • Communicate investment views and present recommendations to client investment committees.
  • Oversee the preparation of client reporting and investment committee packs.
  • Drive FUM and revenue growth across the client base.
  • Work closely with the Manager Research team on manager selection and portfolio construction.
  • Apply proprietary tools for portfolio modelling, trading, and risk management.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, industry forums, and adviser engagements.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in investment management, asset consulting, or investment research.
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and financial advice processes.
  • Proven experience working with financial advisers.
  • Excellent client-facing and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research capability.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently.
