We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to prepare and cook dishes for our six and eight-course Chef's Tasting menu and event canapés.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Expertise: Develop expertise in assigned menu specialty, efficiently preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes while contributing to recipe development and menu planning.
  • Food Safety and Stock Management: Ensure food is stored correctly with good stock rotation, maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, and monitor stock levels to assist with ordering supplies and minimise waste.
  • Training and Team Collaboration: Manage and train Junior/Commis Chefs, sharing knowledge to enhance team performance and collaborate with Executive and Head Chef for smooth kitchen operations.
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Manage time effectively, work quickly under pressure, and remain open to taking on new tasks or adapting to different roles to support overall kitchen functionality.

This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail and a positive work attitude. You may be required to work any day of the calendar week, including weekends and gazetted public holidays.
