Lactation Specialist Career Opportunity

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lactation Specialist to provide clinical expert care, consultancy, and education to staff, patients, and families within our hospital requiring lactation support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-level lactation consultancy and care, including developing and implementing clinical guidelines and applying research to practice.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate lactation education sessions for patients and staff.
- Apply sound knowledge of research methodology and continuous quality improvement within the clinical setting.
Requirements:
- Advanced level of clinical expertise in delivering lactation consultancy and care.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Accreditation with the International Board of Lactation Consultants.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
- Desirable: Holds or working towards relevant postgraduate tertiary qualifications.
