About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Coordinator to join our team at The Smith Family. As a key member of our Child and Parent Centres team, you will play a critical role in developing, delivering, and evaluating early years programs that make a positive impact on the lives of young Australians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement early years programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Department of Health service providers and external service providers to ensure seamless delivery of programs
  • Plan and schedule the delivery of external programs, groups, and services based on evaluation of information and ongoing feedback from children and families
  • Work closely with the Manager to ensure that all resources are current, maintained regularly, and that new resource requirements are identified and actioned
  • Establish and maintain successful relationships with Principals and school staff at host schools and surrounding schools
  • Provide referrals and support to children and families as required
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the strategic plan for the Centre
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases and administrative tasks
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who possesses the following skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating programs/projects
  • Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
  • Experience working with children and families in a community setting
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining partnerships
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and plan own work to achieve identified goals within time constraints
