About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a Clinical Lead to join our team at headspace, a leading youth mental health organisation in Australia. As a Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership, consultation, and expertise in the delivery of evidence-informed service delivery and implementation of the program or projects.

You will work alongside the National Program Manager and Team Lead to support and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of the workshops within the Mental Health Education Program. The program focuses on building the mental health literacy and capacity of headspace centres, local services, and wider school communities to implement an approach to evidence-based mental health promotion and early intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and consultation to support the delivery of evidence-informed service delivery and implementation of the program or projects.
  • Work with the National Program Manager and Team Lead to design, develop, and implement workshops within the Mental Health Education Program.
  • Support the development of mental health education sessions for school staff, students, parents, and carers across Australia, with a focus on regional, rural, and remote school communities.
  • Engage with a broad range of health professionals and organisations to negotiate and liaise with them.
Requirements
  • Advanced clinical skills within mental health.
  • Considerable demonstrated senior clinical experience, including the provision of clinical supervision.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and advanced clinical competency.
  • Ability to travel regionally and interstate as required.
  • Current driver's licence and use of a fully maintained motor vehicle.
