About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older adults living independently in the community.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be providing direct clinical nursing care to clients in their homes in line with best practice nursing procedures.

The role involves conducting clinical assessments, dressings, medication assessment and catheter changing.

You will develop a holistic nursing care plan in collaboration with client, carer, Care Advisor and Allied health where relevant.

Liaising with all parties involved in the care of the client to maintain holistic health care and wellbeing is also a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nursing Care: Provide direct clinical nursing care to clients in their homes in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Clinical Assessments: Conduct clinical assessments, dressings, medication assessment and catheter changing
  • Nursing Care Plan: Develop a holistic nursing care plan in collaboration with client, carer, Care Advisor and Allied health where relevant
  • Liaison: Liaise with all parties involved in the care of the client to maintain holistic health care and wellbeing
Requirements
  • Patient Focus: A genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Qualifications: Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years post graduate nursing experience
About Us

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate and reimbursement for kilometres travelled (99 cents per km).

Our working hours are between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, allowing for a great work-life balance.

In addition, we provide not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax.
