About the Role

As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional personal and family counselling services to students and families across our region. This key position will enable you to make a tangible difference in the lives of students by providing targeted interventions and support.

You will work closely with schools, fostering strong relationships and driving effective communication to ensure seamless service delivery. Your expertise will be invaluable in promoting safe and supportive social work practices within our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health and social welfare assessment, interventions, and follow-up support to students and families as required.
  • Offer professional supervision, leadership, advocacy, and support to school social workers within the region.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address complex needs and facilitate referrals to relevant services.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with children and families in an educational setting.
  • Ability to provide professional supervision, leadership, advocacy, and support to school social workers.
