About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Ambassador to join our team on a casual basis.

This role is responsible for attending to customers' hire vehicle requirements, ensuring they receive quality service and an experience they would repeat, share, or recommend.

The successful candidate will work in accordance with our branch operating hours of Monday to Sunday 5am to 9pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing outstanding customer service by understanding and anticipating their needs
  • Opening and closing rental agreements
  • Selling additional over the counter rental products
  • Checking for and recording vehicle damage and maintenance checks
  • Cleaning and presenting passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Movement of vehicles throughout the location and offsite for refueling, maintenance, repairs or other locations as required
  • Ensuring compliance and workplace health and safety risks and incidents are reported promptly and managed effectively

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in Car Rental, Tourism, Retail or Customer Service and sales environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive 'Can do' attitude
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Strong problem solving and complaint handling skills
  • Ability to work both unsupervised and within a team
  • Ability to multi-task and be highly organised with strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and upskill with an openness to constructive feedback
  • Strong track record of punctuality and attendance
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
  • Reliable transport to and from the branch
  • Full and current relevant State driver's licence
