
Senior Business Development Lead

We are seeking a results-driven professional to oversee and grow a high-performing team within the Major Service Provider framework.
This senior leadership role is responsible for delivering complex Defence projects and programs while fostering strong client relationships and driving strategic outcomes.
- Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of Defence projects in line with policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
- Oversee project performance and ensure successful outcomes while enhancing reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and delivery alignment.
- Manage financials, forecasting, cost controls, and compliance with governance.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture to support workforce planning, recruitment, engagement, and development.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to business growth and future bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion and exceeding customer expectations.
Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and driving long-term partnerships.
Financial Management: Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost control, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to governance requirements.
Talent Acquisition and Development: Partner with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture to develop and implement strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.
Business Growth and Improvement: Identify opportunities for business growth, driving innovation and improvement initiatives that enhance reputation and deliver value to customers.
