Responsibilities:
- Oversee staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety are maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle any customer complaints or feedback.
- Assist with financial management tasks such as cash handling and reporting.
- Lead and mentor the front-of-house team, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to drive operational efficiency.
- Liaise with the kitchen regarding menus, events, daily run-sheets, and service.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in a high-volume setting as a Supervisor or Manager of a restaurant.
- Excellent customer service skills and the temperament to match.
- Ability to work with, mentor, and develop a large team.
- Comfortable setting priorities and assigning tasks as required.
- Strong communication skills, a magnetic personality, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Solid financial acumen and the desire to exceed expectations.
- Genuine desire to work as a team to provide all our guests with a great experience.
- Great understanding of food, wines, cocktails, and spirits.
- Experience managing functions is preferred but not essential.
