About the Role

Our organization is seeking a dynamic Senior Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting sport and recreation at all levels. This leadership role requires a continuous improvement mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a drive to enhance operational efficiency across multiple venues.

The ideal candidate will lead back-of-house operations, ensuring high standards in venue preparation and presentation. They will also manage Venue Operations Managers at State Basketball Centre and Lakeside Stadium to ensure successful event delivery.

  • Manage contracts for cleaning, security, parking, and other key suppliers.
  • Drive operational standards and consistency across venues.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional service.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, operations, events, project management, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of operational leadership experience in venue or event operations, with expertise in risk, safety, and quality.
  • Strong financial skills with experience in budgeting and reporting.
  • Proven leadership with the ability to inspire and manage large teams.
