Youth Residential Nurse
Job Summary:We seek a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide medical care and health services to children in a residential facility setting.
Responsibilities:- Health Services: Provide routine and emergency medical care, including physical assessments, vaccinations, and medication management. Monitor patients for potential health issues and respond accordingly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient health data, immunizations, and treatment plans.
- Scheduling and Transportation: Arrange medical appointments and transport patients as needed.
- Maintenance and Supplies: Ensure timely ordering and inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Staff Training: Educate staff on universal precautions, communicable diseases, and proper medication administration techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field required.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the state required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in pediatric nursing or related field preferred.
