About the Role

This full-time Registered Nurse position offers various shifts available across a fortnightly roster starting from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm at our Coffs Harbour location.

You will work collaboratively with residents, our dedicated team, and families to ensure a high standard of individualized care for each of our residents. This involves providing clinical leadership, support, and mentoring to our care team, utilizing your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative relationships.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in assessment and care planning of the older person, as well as the ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team. They will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literacy, and a desire to join a team committed to the care of others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality individualized care to residents in collaboration with the care team.
  • Lead and mentor the care team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
  • Facilitate input from residents, their families, and internal and external health professionals to inform care planning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in aged care.

Requirements

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessment and care planning of the older person.
  • Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
