Cloud Architect

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to help shape and deliver a strategy to build mind share and broad use of cloud services within our strategic accounts.

As a Cloud Architect, you will own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, and develop a deep expertise in cloud technologies as well as broad knowledge of how applications and services are constructed using the cloud platform.

The ideal candidate will possess communication skills that allow them to represent Amazon well within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact and advise software developers and architects.

Candidates must hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance. As a Cloud Architect, help customers plan their successful cloud journey and solve complex, technical challenges to enable the business.

Act as a trusted technical advisor to influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives and help ensure short-term technology decisions align with long-term goals. Accelerate the adoption of cloud services. Act as a thought leader in the wider community by educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers and blogs, and running workshops.

As a customer-obsessed advisor, help shape the direction of our products and services through customer feedback and collaboration with engineering and service teams.
