Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team at Medina Manor in Melbourne.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality care, support, and recreational activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

  • Provide personal care in accordance with residents' individual care plans
  • Report all incidents and changes in resident behavior to the nursing staff
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Establish positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Plan and deliver recreational activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individualised Support or equivalent qualification
  • Commitment to work varied hours with flexibility to take on additional shifts as needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with residents, families, and team members
