We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Water Management Operator to join our team in the Pilbara region. As a key member of our Mine Water Management and Dewatering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mining operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the safety culture and ensure adherence to Rio Tinto's core values at all times.
- Install, move, and remove poly pipelines, feeder cables, diesel pumping systems, and associated plant (valving/control) for Open Cut Mining Operations.
- Diagnose basic pumping problems within the system.
- Install and remove bore pumps as part of a team.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures to ensure adherence at all times.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in and out of the workshops and other areas to ensure a safe work environment and effectively manage risks.
- Work proactively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Perform general labouring and other tasks as required by the Supervisor.
- Australian Driver's License (C-class) Manual.
- High Risk Work Licenses (LF, WP, DG, CN) – (preferred).
