About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our Project Delivery Team based in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both the Site Manager and Project Manager in site and project delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the tender process as required;
  • Supporting project planning at handover of tender, including defining trade works scopes, budgets, and timelines;
  • Coordinating with the project team, consultants, and subcontractors to manage design development and ensure that design specifications are met;
  • Preparing project methodologies and construction programmes, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan;
  • Providing technical oversight during project delivery to ensure compliance with client requirements;
  • Providing technical advice and troubleshooting engineering-related issues that arise during construction;
  • Assisting with overseeing daily operations on-site to ensure construction activities align with project plans;
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities during the project's execution while maintaining quality standards;
  • Conducting regular site inspections to assess workmanship and material quality;
  • Identifying and rectifying any non-conformance issues or defects early in the construction process;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying; or relevant trade qualifications with significant construction experience;
  • Prior experience in the Industrial and/or multi-level tower sector;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction methodology, project management principles, and project delivery methods;
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Good commercial acumen and analytical thinking;
