Accounts Payable Officer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Officer to join our Administration team. As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment runs, reconciliation of creditor accounts, and purchase order matching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High volume accounts payable - end to end process (monthly & weekly payment runs)
  • Reconciliation of creditor accounts
  • Purchase order matching
  • Building relationships and liaising with internal & external stakeholders to achieve results
  • Manage electronic document and workflow software
  • Database maintenance & data entry
  • Accurate record keeping
  • General administration tasks
  • Identifying areas for continuous improvement across accounts payable processes

About You:

  • You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role. Automotive dealership experience is desirable, though not essential
  • You can demonstrate your ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • You are able to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines, with minimal data entry errors
  • You can build strong working relationships with your team and you have an excellent attitude to teamwork
  • You are a team player and are able to work autonomously
  • You have strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
