About the Role

\

The Road Safety Partnerships Lead will work collaboratively with local government, non-government organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate participation and engagement in road safety matters.

\

This role is responsible for building effective relationships with key stakeholders across government and non-government sectors to support Victoria's Road Safety Strategy. The successful candidate will operate on an outreach basis, engaging with stakeholders and community members at a local level to understand their perspectives, opportunities, and challenges.

\

The role involves overseeing and coordinating initiatives, programs, and projects, ensuring that processes are in place for effective delivery, monitoring, and evaluation. Additionally, this position will facilitate input from the community on new or emerging policy challenges and opportunities, while feeding intelligence and stakeholder needs to inform future work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear understanding of road safety issues within communities and geographical areas\
  • Effectively manage stakeholders and build strong relationships with internal and external parties\
  • Provide project management to coordinate the delivery and operation of assigned programs, projects, and initiatives\
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, developing clear metrics for reporting and tracking progress\
  • Risk and opportunity management, identifying potential risks and implementing efficiencies and improvements\
  • Promote and support safe, inclusive, and flexible team operations\
