Job Title:

Technical Leadership Role

Overview:

The role of a Technical Leadership Manager involves providing strategic direction and technical expertise to lead the development of scalable web applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development planning to ensure team growth and success.

Technical Delivery:

  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from design and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Drive technical excellence by ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture, and provide hands-on support in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs) development when required.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and UX teams to deliver features on time and within scope, managing project timelines, sprint planning, resource allocation, and progress reporting.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Quality & Operations:

  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices, maintaining application reliability, performance, and security in production environments.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation in development processes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software development with .NET technologies, with at least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership or people management role.
  • Strong skills in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, knowledge of mobile app development with frameworks such as Ionic would be highly advantageous, RESTful API design and integration, front-end frameworks (Angular) – desirable, familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines, excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, .NET certifications), experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
