Seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team in Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering technical deliverables while working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective engineering and design output.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer to contribute to the success of our company. As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in the development of high-quality designs that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technically acceptable design services to ensure client satisfaction and business needs.
  • Work with engineering specialists to ensure specification compliance and technical integrity of design.
  • Prepare, check, and file design documents, deliverables, and other design information.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of systems across the division.
  • Support customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience as a Senior Design role in an engineering contracting or consultancy organization.
  • Strong EPC experience, particularly in 3D modeling and generating MTOs.
  • Skills in pipe isometrics, piping layouts, and piping specs/catalogue development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, Microstation, Smart 3D, SMAT, and Navisworks.
