Are you a mechanical engineering student or graduate looking to apply your skills in mechanical design engineering?

This internship involves hands-on engineering design work incorporating automation and robotics supporting the production and delivery of machinery and ancillary equipment.

Solidworks Design Engineering Internship Roles:
  • Designing machinery and allied industrial equipment using Solidworks
  • Providing technical support and assisting with the creation and editing of P&ID diagrams using software such as Lucidchart and EdrawMax
  • Participating in design reviews and risk assessments with senior engineers and production managers, and providing on-site workshop assistance
  • Liaising with clients and presenting final designs for review
  • Performing simulations and coordinating QA and testing activities
What You Will Learn:
  • Hands-on mechanical engineering experience, focusing on mechatronics and industrial design for FMCGs and New Product Integration
  • Essential Solidworks skills and software training in 3D modeling to translate theoretical knowledge into real-world design engineering projects during the internship program
  • P&ID drafting experience, with an emphasis on designing pneumatic circuits
  • Knowledge of DFM and Lean principles
