Maintenance Technician

About the Role
Visy Glass is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their team in Penrose, Auckland. This permanent, full-time role involves working Monday to Friday (6.30am – 3pm) with a call-out roster as required.
Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will support job changes and conversions, perform machine repairs, and complete planned and unplanned maintenance tasks. You will work closely with the IS Repair Manager to ensure all duties are carried out in a timely manner, with minimal impact on costs and productivity.
Requirements
- A Mechanical Trade Certificate or National Certificate in Maintenance and Diagnostics
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering or machine maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills
- Strong pneumatics experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Health and safety conscious
- Able to work unsupervised
