Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Manager to oversee our merchant and payment risk portfolio. This role is critical in assessing and mitigating financial risk across our merchants with a focus on credit exposure, risk assessment, and underwriting policy refinement.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and onboarding teams to ensure new business is written with a growth mindset while balancing risk. You will work closely with the Head of Merchant Risk to accurately report on the merchant portfolio, providing analysis for executive decision-making.

This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial analysis, credit modeling, and risk assessment tools, as well as a solid understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (master's preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in credit risk analysis
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, credit modeling, and risk assessment tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks
