Clinical Trials Specialist

Key responsibilities of this role include ensuring standardized assessments and reliable data in clinical trials. This is achieved by evaluating the quality of assessment tools, conducting live interactions with raters, and providing guidance as needed.

Functional assessments of rater performance are also a key aspect of this job. Additionally, specialists may assist in communications related to clinical research trials.

  • Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is required for this position.
  • Three years of experience administering psychiatric assessments, ratings scales, and structured clinical interviews are necessary.
  • Three years of clinical experience with related psychiatric populations is also required.
  • Three years of experience administering scales in clinical research trials is essential.

Skills required for this position include strong interpersonal skills, excellent organization and time management abilities, and computer proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Some additional tasks associated with this role include:

  • Participating in orientation and training activities.
  • Evaluating case data and preparing for discussions with raters.
  • Completing assigned tasks as scheduled.
