About the Role

Cement Australia is seeking a talented Graduate Chemical Engineer to join our Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing processes related to the production of our chemicals and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in leading the implementation of performance improvement ideas to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact
  • Provide day-to-day chemical engineering and product quality control support to the Quality Manager
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of products throughout rigorous testing and analysis
  • Work on projects that involve the transformation of raw materials into valuable products
  • Ensure efficiency, safety, and sustainability are maintained throughout the entire manufacturing process
  • Coordinate with other teams to execute projects from conception to completion
  • Ensure all processes adhere to safety regulations and industry standards
About You
  • You have or are close to completing a Bachelor of Chemical or Process Engineering
  • You have experience working in a team environment
  • You can build rapport and great relationships with a wide variety of people
  • You are resilient, tenacious, and enjoy analyzing data and problem-solving
  • You bring a positive attitude, a love of learning, and a willingness to tackle whatever comes your way
  • You are able to travel for work if required
