
Transportation Coordinator

As a Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient planning and coordination of deliveries. You will be responsible for analyzing delivery data and trends to optimize scheduling and improve delivery performance.
This role requires a high level of customer service orientation, effective time management, and self-discipline. Strong numerical and literacy skills are essential, as well as strong computer literacy skills.
Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure scheduling and rostering strategies are created and implemented to maximize fleet and people resource utilization.
- Analyze delivery data and trends to optimize scheduling and improve delivery performance.
- Monitor delivery schedules and adjust as necessary to accommodate changes or unexpected delays.
- Facilitate and schedule fleet maintenance and repairs, communicate with vendors, and attend weekly meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate job quotations are created and returned to the customer in the requested timeframes.
- Complete and return accurate resource allocations to the customer in a timely manner ensuring maximized fleet utilization.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Australian Citizenship to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance.
- Strong customer service orientation, effective time management, and self-discipline.
- Ability to create business improvements/solutions for customers.
- Ability to manage maximum capacity vehicle utilization.
- Knowledge of Road Transport rules & regulations - training to be provided.
- Dangerous Goods and Explosives knowledge.
- Strong numerical & literacy skills with strong computer literacy skills.
