About The Role

We are seeking an empowering leader to spearhead end-to-end development projects on Council owned and/or controlled land.

This role involves strategic stakeholder management, working closely with the City Projects Team and key stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive long-term sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading feasibility studies through to project financing, delivery methodology, design, construction, and handover
  • Maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships

The ideal candidate will present with a significant background in private sector development, sound project management experience, and the ability to apply project and contract management knowledge to statutory and compliance requirements.

A strong track record of providing leadership and strategic direction to a multi-disciplinary team is essential, as well as the ability to leverage and mentor junior staff.

Relevant tertiary and post-graduate qualifications in property development, construction management or similar are required, along with excellent communication skills.

Additional desirable skills include experience with programs such as InDesign, Adobe Suit, AutoCAD and Sketch up.
