About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Leader to join our team at Flight Centre Travel Group. As a key member of our Corporate Technology Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our organisation and collaborating with senior technical leaders to achieve our strategic goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive engineering development program
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers at all levels, helping them reach their full potential
  • Solve complex technical problems and guide conversations to remove blockers and encourage collaboration across teams
  • Have a product delivery mindset, focussed on continually delivering value
  • Interact with customers and other external stakeholders as a consultant and spokesperson for Flight Centre Corporate
  • Lead a small team of engineering leads and their engineers, and participate in the recruitment process
  • Contribute to the onboarding process for new engineers, ensuring a smooth integration into the team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working in a wide range of technology tools and products, including Java, C#, RPA platforms, Microsoft Azure, and UML
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with senior business leaders and customers
  • A keen eye for technical and solution architecture, with the ability to drive technical outcomes
