Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive engineering development program.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers at all levels, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Solve technical problems of the highest scope, complexity, and ambiguity.
  • Guide conversations to remove blockers and encourage collaboration across teams.
  • Have a product delivery mindset, focused on continually delivering value.
  • Interact with customers and other external stakeholders as a consultant and spokesperson for StudentUniverse.
  • Lead a small team of engineering leads and their engineers.
  • Participate in the recruitment process, including interviewing and assessing technical candidates.
  • Contribute to the onboarding process for new engineers, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.
  • Play a central role in technical, business, and organizational contributions affecting your domain area.
  • Have extensive experience (10+ years) working in a wide range of technology tools and products, including Java, C#, RPA platforms, Microsoft Azure, and more.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving technical direction and strategy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide engineers at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Experience working with a wide range of technology tools and products.
