Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in the Hunter Region. As a Project Engineer, you will assist the Project Manager to deliver projects in a safe and environmentally sound manner, ensuring that the project is constructed in accordance with contract and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager to deliver projects in a safe and environmentally sound manner
  • Carry out electrical design activities for the project as required
  • Procure electrical equipment at competitive prices to meet project requirements
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Maintain and manage Quality Assurance requirements throughout the project
Requirements
  • Experience as a Project Engineer specifically in the water and wastewater industry
  • Relevant qualification in Engineering – Civil, Processing, Mechanical or Electrical
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry coupled with highly developed engineering skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders
