About the Job:

Talent International is seeking a highly skilled Senior PMO Analyst to join their team and contribute to the success of a large transformation program. As a strategic portfolio analyst, you will be responsible for fostering relationships between the project management office and project community to provide a strategic overview of the status and interdependencies of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a strategic overview of all programs, projects, interdependencies, and reporting exceptions or areas of concern to senior management responsible for the delivery of projects and programs.
  • Analyse the portfolio and make recommendations on the program and/or project mix to Executive and Senior Level management.
  • Analyse the impacts of the pipeline portfolio and provide insights on the interdependencies.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to improve program or project workflow.
  • Facilitate governance and/or portfolio meetings.
  • Develop and maintain the end-to-end portfolio roadmap and interdependencies.
  • Assess benefits management across the portfolio and identify gaps and conflicts, providing status reporting to relevant governance committees.
  • Work directly with the Senior Manager, Program Management Office (PMO) to support the governance and assurance of the portfolio.
  • Identify, develop, lead, and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide support to project directors, project managers, project coordinators, and project analysts through analytic insights and recommendations where required.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a similar role within a project management environment.
  • Knowledge in the integrated management of project scope, time, cost, resources, quality, risk, and procurement.
  • Understanding of project methodologies and associated measurement/reporting standards and controls.
  • Demonstrated experience in working within high-performance teams.
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Accreditation by the AIPM or PMI.
  • Experience working in the insurance, health, and disability or government sector is highly desirable.
