Position Overview

As the Technical Engineering Lead, you will guide, motivate, and empower a group of skilled engineers, engaging in a variety of stimulating projects. You will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including roadmap and strategic planning.

We seek a technically adept leader who can effectively manage a team of engineers while collaborating with Technical Leads and Product Owners to deliver technological solutions. You will be passionate about coaching, mentoring, and nurturing talent within your team.

  • Overseeing a team of proficient engineers by fostering, supporting, and enhancing the team's operational methodologies.
  • Championing simplicity, quality, speed, scalability, value, and innovation within the team.
  • Managing and contributing to the team's sustainable delivery approach, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction in the outcomes.
  • Possessing experience in software architecture, with a deep understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, the significance of automation, and the implications of technical debt on teams and software results.
  • Driving innovation in products and services to enhance customer experience and scale systems as the customer base expands.
  • Assisting in formulating, interpreting, and executing our technology strategy while ensuring adherence to technology standards across your team and the broader organization.

  • Demonstrated expertise in people leadership, with a focus on motivating, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers.
  • Experience in architecting and constructing robust, scalable cloud platforms for high-traffic environments, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and performance, along with cost optimization of cloud architecture.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Fluency in modern technology practices, including management and leadership methodologies, with experience in coaching and mentoring these practices.
  • Understanding of risk management principles and the impact of technical decisions on software risk.
  • Experience in software design, with a comprehensive understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, the importance of automation, and the effects of technical debt on teams and software outcomes.
