What We Do

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team and providing technical guidance to ensure the highest quality and fit-for-purpose of our platforms. You will be accountable for building products in line with our technology strategy and product roadmaps, including making collaborative decisions on technology stack, design patterns, and overall technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering team and provide technical guidance to ensure the highest quality and fit-for-purpose of our platforms.
  • Accountable for building products in line with our technology strategy and product roadmaps.
  • Make collaborative decisions on technology stack, design patterns, and overall technical strategy.
  • Drive the practice maturity and capability uplift of software engineering/development practices.
  • Spent a percentage of time 'on the tools' writing code.
Requirements
  • Solid commercial experience leading the API design and development practice.
  • Practical experience in designing, building, and running solutions in AWS cloud with focus on scalability and reliability with serverless and event-driven architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of API Gateway, ESB, and Service Mesh platforms and technologies.
  • Experience in leading and growing software engineering teams.
  • Commercial experience with Node.js and/or Java.
  • Experience running applications and systems in production environment with high focus on end-to-end observability.
