The Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) provides a unique focus on youth mental health in Victoria.

The Role

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide clinical care and coordination within our multidisciplinary team, supporting young people with severe mood disorders, bipolar disorder without psychotic features, and complex co-morbidities such as OCD and severe anxiety disorders.

You will be responsible for timely mental health assessments, treatment plans, crisis interventions and clinical documentation.

Your Responsibilities
  • Complete timely mental health assessments, treatment plans and crisis interventions.
  • Deliver high-quality, client-focused care aligned with best practice standards.
  • Provide or develop capacity for integrated care for dual diagnosis presentations.
  • Collaborate with young people, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure care is evidence-based, inclusive and culturally appropriate for diverse communities.
  • Liaise and partner with external services including AOD, Youth Justice and primary care.

About You / Qualifications
  • Eligible disciplines: RPN Grade 3 / Occupational Therapist, Social Worker and Psychologist Grade 2
  • Relevant registration and qualifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical practice in the mental health field with young people.
  • Experience in clinical assessment, risk management and delivering specialist interventions for complex depression and anxiety.
  • Experience or interest in OCD and/or Bipolar Disorder is highly desired.
