A unique chance to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care in remote NT communities as a Registered Midwife.

  • This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, providing treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Cultural orientation and 24/7 support are provided to facilitate your transition into remote healthcare.
  • You will also receive free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
Key Requirements
  • Evidence of unrestricted registration as a registered nurse and registered midwife with AHPRA is mandatory.
  • You should have at least 3 years of postgraduate experience in midwifery.
  • At least 2 years of postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Minimum 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months are necessary.
  • You need to be currently certified for CPR/BLS and hold a current recognised Immunisation certificate.
  • A current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card or willingness to obtain one is essential.
