Job Description

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the successful applicant to teach mathematics. The position commences in January 2026 at Holy Spirit College in Bellambi.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Support student growth and improvement in learning, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Catholic School's mission and purpose within the broader Catholic Church.
  • Establish an orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment based on PB4L principles.
  • Apply knowledge of diverse student needs to facilitate their full participation in learning.
  • Plan and implement effective teaching and learning strategies in Key Learning Areas.
  • Utilise a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
  • Commit to engaging professionally with colleagues, parents/caregivers, and the wider school community.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to teach Extension 1 & 2 Mathematics.
General Capabilities
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area(s).
  • Level B Accreditation or a commitment to gain Level B within the first 5 years of employment.
  • Registration with NESA as a qualified teacher.
