Risk Manager - Home Lending Compliance

The Distribution Governance team collaborates across Personal Banking to ensure risks associated with the distribution of financial services products are understood and comprehensively managed.



You will work closely with the Personal Banking sales team to manage risks related to distributing home lending products through the Direct channel. In this role, you will lead a team to conduct regular application reviews and oversee initiatives that improve compliance oversight and operational efficiency within the channel.



By advocating and enforcing a risk mindset across the Personal Banking ecosystem, you will contribute to the overall integrity and robustness of the distribution process.

  • Prior experience in a people leadership role and 3+ years of experience in Risk or Compliance, ideally within home lending
  • Knowledge of internal and external regulations relevant to home lending
  • Strong experience in managing programs of work and high organizational skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
