Dining Services Assistant

Catholic Healthcare seeks a Dining Services Assistant to join our team at St Josephs in Coffs Harbour. As a member of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining service to residents.

  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and serving.
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit.
  • Working safely to protect yourself, colleagues and residents by following all policies and procedures.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A passion for delivering excellent care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - highly desirable but not essential.
  • A good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
