This role presents an exceptional opportunity to secure a Fraud Investigator position within a large Federal government agency located in Brisbane CBD.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Government Investigations, along with expertise in conducting investigations, preparing statements and affidavits, collecting and managing evidential material and confidential information.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking complex work guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.
  • Providing technical, professional, policy, operational support, and advice in relation to complex problems while coordinating strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development that support the organisation's objectives.
  • Preparing cases and briefs of evidence for referral to relevant parties such as the Australian Federal Police and Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
  • Representing the organisation in criminal and civil court proceedings.
  • Analysing and processing information to produce accurate and informative reports, undertaking administration, reporting, and project work as required.

To be successful in this role, applicants must be Australian citizens with a Working with Children Check and Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance at 'Negative Vetting Level 1'.
