About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager Branch Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service Network (CSN) Crew, you will play a critical role in providing advice and support for the ongoing development of our branch network.

As a Portfolio Manager Branch Strategist, you will work closely with our partners to innovate and deliver physical property solutions that support the delivery of excellent customer service. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the property strategy and plans for a portfolio of branches and support teams
  • Providing expert advice on the Refurbishment Program, including location, size, design, and cost of a branch
  • Recommending the distribution of commercial space, branches, and self-service machines within designated geographic portfolios
  • Working with Group Property's Leasing, Design & Construction teams to achieve optimal outcomes in the property portfolios of all Business Units in the Group
  • Building strong working relationships with senior leaders, including Regional General Managers and Area Managers, within your portfolio
  • Adhering to Branch Refurbishment Budget allocation and delegations
  • Identifying opportunities to consolidate space usage and generate savings to the business units

You will be required to travel to designated regions to validate your recommendations and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

Requirements
  • Risk Mindset: All Comm Bank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks
  • Understanding of the Retail branch environment with a strong appreciation for typical customer needs, service principles, and operations
  • Track record of performance in previous roles demonstrating consistency and initiative
  • Sound organisational skills, stakeholder management skills, verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of the MS Office and Atlassian suite of programs
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Current drivers licence
  • Knowledge of project management concepts
