Leadership Opportunity in Australian Wine Production

This exciting role presents a unique chance to lead the development of a new premium wine brand. As Winemaker and Operations Manager, you will oversee the construction of a state-of-the-art winery and manage all winemaking operations at our estate vineyard.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the final stages of winery build and ensure timely completion for vintage 2025
  • Oversee winemaking operations, including production planning, quality control, and site stewardship
  • Develop and implement strategies for premium Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon production
  • Collaborate with viticulturist to optimize grape yields and quality
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Oenology or related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in winemaking, preferably in Australia
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work autonomously and make informed decisions
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to perform physical duties as required
