Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Safety Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a caseload of complex and high-risk individuals sentenced to community correction orders.

The successful candidate will conduct risk assessments, prepare case plans, provide interventions, and address underlying factors in offending behaviour. They will also work with service providers and care teams to develop effective strategies to reduce reoffending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify the needs of each individual and develop targeted interventions.
  • Case Planning: Prepare comprehensive case plans that outline the goals, objectives, and strategies for reducing reoffending.
  • Interventions: Provide evidence-based interventions to address the underlying causes of offending behaviour.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate with service providers and care teams to ensure seamless delivery of support services.
  • Staff Development: Lead and develop case management staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage cases.
