Protect and Serve as a Retail Security Officer

You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our shopping centre, providing exceptional customer service and managing access to the site. Your duties include building key relationships with tenants, responding to client requests and managing emergency situations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to all customers and visitors.
  • Access Management: Manage access to the site, including issuing keys and monitoring entry points.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of the site, including responding to emergency situations.
  • Emergency Situations: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, using your training and experience to minimize risk.
Requirements:
  • A current NSW Full Security Licence, including crowd control where applicable.
  • An Apply First Aid Certificate.
  • A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.
  • Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential.
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to take ownership of service delivery.
  • The ability to complete reports using various platforms.
  • Excellent presentation and well-groomed appearance.
  • High-level problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to respond to emergency situations.
  • Valid work rights in Australia.
  • The ability to work shifts up to 12 hours.
  • Availability across 7 days/nights.
