Procurement Specialist

The role involves the management and implementation of procurement processes to ensure alignment with organisational policies and guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement principles and practices, experience in preparing tender documentation, evaluating supplier proposals, and procurement within infrastructure or construction environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also essential.
- Develop and implement the Goods and Services Procurement Framework
- Ensure procurement processes align with organisational policies and guidelines
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and evaluate tender submissions
- Provide advice on procurement best practices to internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier agreements
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Proven experience in procurement within infrastructure or construction environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
