Young Peoples Services Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional to coordinate Young Peoples Services for our libraries. The role will involve leading a team of staff providing exciting services to young people and their families at our library branches.

The Role:

Coordinate programs, events, and services that encourage young people to love reading, learning, creating, and visiting their local libraries.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff in delivering engaging programs for young people.
  • Develop and implement collections and programs that enrich early literacy development.
  • Coordinate and manage various services to cater to the needs of young people.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have a great understanding of children's collections and demonstrated ability to deliver programs for young people. They will also have recognised tertiary qualifications, eligibility for membership with relevant industry associations, and a valid working with children card.
