About the Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Lead Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Uniting Preschool Turramurra – TurraTots. With over 30 years of experience in teaching young children, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment that supports and facilitates their learning outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Lead Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for providing quality education and care to children, aged [insert age range], in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework. Your role will include:

  • Developing positive relationships with children, families, and community members
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous on-the-job experience (preferred)
  • A passion for working with children of all ages
  • A work history that demonstrates programming, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members
