Centacare Brisbane's St Cecilia's Long Day Care and Kindergarten is committed to providing a nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to kindergarten age. Our centre is located in a heritage-listed building, featuring high ceilings, French doors, and polished timber floors.

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Early Years Educator Leader to join our team. This part-time role offers a competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging educational programs that promote children's well-being and learning.
• Collaborate with the established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Provide a safe and inclusive environment that supports children's physical, emotional, and social development.
• Engage in professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and legislative requirements.
• Promote the service within the local community, adhering to Centacare Brisbane's expectations and educational philosophy.

Job Requirements:
• Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) OR an equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
• A passion for the education and care of children in a play-based learning environment.
• Effective workplace communication skills.
