This permanent position offers a flexible start date, allowing you to align your career goals with the school's vision. As an inclusive education specialist, you will collaborate with the diversity leader to integrate diverse perspectives into all aspects of school life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop age-appropriate learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Support the diversity leader in identifying effective teaching methods for students with additional needs.
  • Contribute to designing and implementing school programs focused on inclusivity.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to identify and support vulnerable students.
  • Create personalized learning plans and monitor progress for these students.
  • Model inclusive teaching practices to enhance colleagues' skills.
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports all students.
  • Contribute to professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Pursue additional tasks assigned by the principal or their delegate.

Requirements:

  • Degree in inclusive education or similar field.
  • Extensive experience as a classroom teacher.
  • Expertise in CEDP's upper primary literacy and numeracy support programs or willingness to learn.
